In Edmonton, popster Christian Hansen is a big deal, getting regular airplay on Sonic 102.9 FM and selling out club shows.
In Toronto, where he and his wife/keyboardist Molly Flood now live, Hansen is a small fry. Which happens to be the title of his five-song EP, a smattering of sparse dance-hop beats, mysterious synths, and his offbeat yet vulnerable takes on murder, manhood and moving away. Hansen will headline two EP release parties in Edmonton:
* An all-ages show at The Artery on Friday, April 18 with Doug Hoyer.
* An 18-plus gig at The Pawn Shop on Saturday, April 19 with Hoyer and Mark Mills.
